What Should I Expect During Treatment?
After you discuss your goals with one of the expert providers at Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness during your consultation, your injections can be performed during a short office visit. Anesthesia is not usually necessary, but you can request a topical numbing solution if you have concerns. Your provider will first clean the injection site, and then administer a quick injection beneath the skin.
You may see results immediately following your treatment, or within the first few days. It’s possible that you'll have some mild bruising or swelling near the injection site, but this usually goes away with 24 hours.
How Long Will My Results Last?
How long your results from injectables last depends on which product you choose, the overall condition of your skin, and how well you care for your skin at home. In general, Dysport and BOTOX typically last between 4-6 months. Many dermal fillers can last 6-8 months, and Juvederm can last up to one year.
